Good morning my children and welcome to all. It is good to meet the parents of my child. So dear ones what questions do you have?

P: Sir, very often when we are meditating, the mind turns to thoughts which are not good, in spite of trying very hard? Why does this happen and how do we fight these evil influences?

These are not evil influences, my child. Thoughts, both good and unpleasant, will always be present. The more you fight them, by saying they are evil, the more they will grow. But if you accept that all thoughts are your own, however unpleasant they may be, you will soon find that they will reduce in number. And, my child, it is not only during meditation that these thoughts come. They are always there but the silent moment of meditation makes you aware of them. Now once you have accepted that these thoughts are yours and come up due to the natural imperfections that make you human, you can use the power of prayer to counter them, not fight them.

Sy: Sir, in spite of trying very hard why am I not making progress?

Who says that you are not? My son, you have always judged yourself so harshly that you have never found satisfaction in your own growth. You have attained a lot, my son. If you had not this meeting would have not been permitted. My son, you have an idea about linking and meditation. Let me explain true meditation. It is not only sitting silently in one place and linking with our Lord. Meditation is work, worship and all activity done in His name and His name alone. It is wrong to think that you allot a few minutes of the day to this. You allot the whole day, and your very sincerity is meditation and proof of your growth.

Sy: Sir, without meaning any disrespect, do I think of Avatar Meher Baba as God or as a god-realised master?

My son, everyone is god but no one is God Himself. So do not pray to anyone; no saint, no prophet, but to the Lord. No one is our Lord, not even the master of this universe. But respect and revere all. Respect and revere the spark of divinity that lies in Meher Baba.

Sy: Sir, will I able to one day communicate with my guides?

Yes, my son, very soon. It will happen in an unexpected manner so do not again have an idea that it should be in any one particular manner and DO NOT COMPARE YOUR SELF WITH ANYONE.

Y: Sir, am I doing well in my writing?

Very well.

Sy: Sir, I am trying to cleanse myself of all poisons within me and open my channels. Am I successful ?

Very.

P: Sir, I would also like to ask the same question?

My child, you are asking again for outside confirmation. Your question is not from a healthy point of view, is it my dear child?

P: Sir, but if you don’t tell me how do I know that I am on the right path?

NO EXCUSES.

P: Sir, I really wish to know if I am on the right path?

P: I think I am , but I would like confirmation from you.

WHY?

P: Because I don’t have that self- confidence.
