Good evening children. The master ( Yukteshwarji) is not here today because his energy is required in our realms for the very large number of suffering souls. We will start with today's meeting without any delay. Your questions.

Sir, first may I ask a short question about the earthquake? Sir, you have warned us and told us of these things, but with all this knowledge I, at least found it very difficult to contain my panic, especially with J away.

Son, that is the importance of detachment. To detach means to love and then to hand over your love to the Divine. The child is not yours, he never was. It is difficult to learn this but it is only through difficulties that one learns to surrender, one learns to detach. The panic and the fear is the result of the conditioned mind. If you, as a child, had been conditioned by your parents that in times of difficulty and stress one must place complete faith in God, there would be no fear and panic. It is conditioning.

Sir how do you deal with that?

You re-condition. Consciously, step by small step. Yes, there will be fear, and yes, there will be panic. In those moments if there are even a few short moments when you can turn to God and say "I leave all to the Divine Will of which I am a part" ...At first, my son, these words will be mere words which you will mouth, but on constant repetition you will re-condition your mind.

Sir, why did my panic come on at the time of my meditation? Through the day I was OK.

No, son, you were not OK. You had merely tried to contain yourself. You did not even allow yourself to think. When you sit for meditation those defenses come down, if not all the way, for quite a bit. That is when the fear strikes.

Sir, would that explain what happened to the candle?

The fear is a negative force so powerful that it would not permit you, because you would not permit it to leave, so it would not permit you to meditate. The power of the negative force extinguished your candle. Son, you should have picked that up at the time and you should have worked on it at that time.

Sir, your child had some questions regarding karma. Do I need to read out those questions?

Are there any other questions?

Sir, we are given messages by Archangel Raphael and St. Paul and others, and we are also told that they have taken rebirth. Is it possible for them to be reborn and still give us messages like this through mediums?

Child, when there is ascension of the soul, the soul does not take physical form. What it does is to overcome another soul who has undertaken with the ascended master to work for him/her in physical form.

In his name?

It may be in his name, it may not be in his name; it may be in another name. But it is an overcoming, not a coming again. And, my child, an ascended soul, being ascended, has its power to send its energy wherever it desires simultaneously. If the master desired to be with you today, he could have but he desired not to divide his energy because the full force of his energy is needed here ( in our realms). That is why he is not here.

Sir, people have seen the images of Christ in the sky warning them of impending disasters. Is that really the Christ?

Child, very often it is the higher soul of that person warning of what is to happen. But, the higher soul has no face, and if the higher soul were to take on the face of some unknown entity or the face of the person himself or herself the message of the higher soul would not be heeded. And so the higher soul assumes the form which it knows will definitely be heeded by the physical soul.

Sir, we have been told that Adam was the first man and Eve was created from his rib, and have also been told that we have evolved from the apes. What is the truth of our evolution?

Child, the process of evolution is definitely true. The human race evolved from one form to another to another to another to another. The evolution took millions of years. And you, as a race, are still not complete. You have already been told that the human race is still evolving and that the children of today are different from you, although physically they seem to be the same. So evolution is a gradual, on-going process, my son; it never stops, it cannot stop. Energy climbs higher and as it climbs higher the physical form must necessarily change to accommodate higher energy. But, no, my son, there was no Eve created out of a rib. You must remember children the stories, the fables and parables were told so that people would understand the significance. Doesn't a child pick up the significance of a simple story far quicker than if you were to sit and explain the moral of the story to the child?  It is important to tell the story and then let the child pick up the significance for himself or herself.

Sir, in relation with all those who died in the earthquake, did all these souls decide to go through this together for some reason?

Child, this is one of the questions we will take up when we discuss karma. My son, you asked if the questions needed to be asked. We do not need that, we are already aware of the anger this child has been feeling. This anger is because she has realized the impact of all her thoughts, words and deeds. She does not wish to acknowledge and take responsibility, and so the anger, anger against us, because she thinks still, in some corner of her physical mind that we are separate from her. But, yes, my son we would like you to voice the questions so that others might hear.

Sir, if the person has contracted with you to do something, e.g. murder and rape, why should this result in karma?

Child if that is in the original blueprint, it will not result in karma, because that was an irrevocable part of each one's blueprint. When I say blueprint try to visualize in your mind the blueprint that you have as an architect. Every corner-stone, every pillar must be there in the blueprint, and that basic structure cannot change. But, once the basic structure is planned, as the structure grows and is being built, the internal details are left up to the builder. Do you want a door here and a window there, or would you have no window? Would you like this room to have an L or a round shape? So, my son, if the murder or rape is the corner-stone, there is no karma. It cannot be, because the murderer has agreed to play this very unpleasant role in order to allow a friend to experience being murdered. That experience might be needed because the person being murdered might have murdered another not as a corner-stone. Children, you have corner-stones and pillars and beams that cannot change. But all the internal building is your own. So if the soul created a karma for itself by committing a murder, or it may not have been a murder; it may have been harm done to another soul in any other way ...there is no eye for an eye. Now, the soul wishes to atone for what it has done, but before it can atone, my son, it has to understand what is the pain of another. Only then it can atone. And so it undertakes to experience the pain. But for that it needs to have someone who will inflict the pain. So you see there is one occasion when the pain that was caused was not a corner stone; it was well within the free will of the soul to cause the pain or not, so there was karma. Now it is a corner stone, so there is no karma. I am sure one of you will now ask, especially my son there, how do we know? Isn't that right, my son?

Yes, Sir.

You don't. You don't know and you will never be permitted to know because, children, if you knew then that would be an excuse for you not to show kindness and mercy and love and that is not at all present in the very large plan of the Divine Will. So you will not know.

Sir, but if the murderer does not know this there will be so much guilt.

Child, that guilt will be a good learning experience for any soul, whether it is a corner stone or it is one of those small free will instances. Through that guilt that person will also learn a valuable lesson. Do not think, my child, that a contract is made purely to help out another. It is always made because you know that you will also have a learning experience. 

Sir, what about the role of the parents of a criminal? Do they also create karma?

Child, again this is the same. If this person has decided as a corner stone, then the parents will play their role either voluntarily, when the physical mind is completely aware of the harm it is causing, or involuntarily, where the physical mind is not at all aware of the harm it is causing. But, then you see, my son, it is not harm because it is meant to happen, it was meant to take place so that the soul could then in a future period work our and execute the contract. So parents do play a very, very important role. When there is the instance of free will, again the parents play a role, because a parent guides and teaches a soul from birth. When the soul has undergone complete forgetfulness, it is the duty of the parent to bring out the memory again into the physical mind. If the memory has not been brought out adequately, the soul in a moment of free will might make a choice for which it would certainly have to go through karma later. And because the parents have not undertaken their duty completely, the parents also have to undergo a little bit of karma again.

Sir, in the normal course of a parent-child relationship a parent will involuntarily cause hurt or harm to a child who misconstrues discipline for harshness. Does this lead to karma?

Child, parents are human, and parents make mistakes. And whenever mistakes are made that soul will learn a lesson, and a lesson can be learnt only through karma. So in that sense, yes, it will lead to karma. Again, in a parent and child relationship, if the child has contracted with the parents to face physical abuse, to face emotional trauma, then the parents must execute that contract. There is no karma. But not all cases are of this nature. Several cases of abuse are of souls who have gone through great physical and emotional pain in past lives. They learn through their pain when they are with us, but in order to forgive and to let go of that pain and that reality of the past, they undertake to come back as parents of, maybe, troublesome children, because their troublesome child will give them the opportunity to either remember the lessons, and not cause harm to those who trouble, or forget the lesson and surrender to the pain of past lives. Once again, my child, this will not be told. The parent and the child must work out the relationship of their souls. And believe me, my son, you are wrong in saying that a child will misconstrue discipline for harshness. Never, my son, never will a child's soul misconstrue. Harshness is harshness, it can never take the place of discipline.

Sir, are you talking of the higher soul?

No, my son, a child's physical soul also knows the difference between discipline and harshness. You can be a very strict disciplinarian without being harsh in the slightest. It is the gentle discipline that gets results, not harshness. Why do you think children are so fond of and are so positively influenced by their grandparents? Because grandparents enforce a gentle discipline. There is no harshness. Most parents in trying to overcome their own inadequacies, which they then see in their children, resort to harshness. But grandparents having gone through so much pain throughout their lives, having learnt from so many of the errors that they have committed along the way, have reached the point where their souls, their physical souls, are aware of so many different things, and so grandparents, truly, gently discipline the child. It would be so much better for your society if the children's upbringing was left to the grandparents. Look way into the past and you will find that all ancient tribal cultures had given the responsibility of rearing their young to the elders of the society. Parents who are young are still going through their own problems, their own conflicts, past and present. Their souls are still not linked with their higher souls. How can they take up the responsibility of nurturing another soul? Grandparents in your society are sadly left aside. That is another reason why your society faces so many psychological problems, because the problems which the parents bring with them are carried forward to the child. If the grandparents looked after the nurturing of the children you would have far more mature, sensitive, wonderful souls who will not forget the lessons they have learnt here because the elders of society  will give them the chance to remember because they themselves have already remembered.

Sir, all of us take physical form only to get en experience, which may be good and bad. In such a case where does karma figure?

We heard.

Yes, Sir. At this point she was at her angriest.

We heard. This was when she refused to take all her responsibility. She wished to blame us once again. In doing so the physical mind tricked her, making her believe for that moment that she and I were separate. None of us are separate. What is karma? Kar means action. It is an eastern word so all of you should be well associated with it. Action..action does not only mean physical action. An action is anything that results in an emanation of energy. Yes, you are all here for experience just as all of us were. Son, how have we reached our ascension? Were we special? No. Were we different? No.  Did we never commit errors? No. Even in my incarnation as 'Yezu' I faced temptation, I lost some battles. So how were we different? But after incarnation after incarnation after incarnation, after coming back here so many times, sometimes learning our lessons again and again and again, we learnt that some experiences can cause pain to ourselves, to our souls, not to another soul, and those experiences we left behind. What is karma? An understanding of the result of the action. What is an experience useful for if it gives you no understanding? You are not like the little mouse in the laboratory that goes round and round and round and round. No. Every experience teaches you. Yes, all experiences. She was right. There are experiences both good and bad and there are some very nasty experiences that you have undertaken to go through as corner stones. But they teach you. It is their understanding that furthers self-growth. They take you on towards the path that you had decided on at the point of separation... 'that I will forget but I will remember and I will merge'. And you can only remember when you understand. But we have nothing to do with your karma. You have them because you desire the experiences. You desire the understanding, but you do not desire the responsibility of that experience. That is why this child was so angry. It is so easy to say ' you all did this'. We had a very good laugh at the 'universal strike' she proposed. How unique! This idea has never been put forth. If every single entity in the universe decided that it does not need the experience and that it desires to merge with the divine will without an understanding of itself, that is its free will and that would be accepted.

But would that be done?

Child, would you like to be an entity without experience, without understanding, without knowledge? If you do, of course, it will be done. But the question is ' do you'? If you did you would not be here, would you? So, my son, the universal strike was a unique idea. I wonder if this child, when the anger leaves her, will realize the foolishness of her idea. We think she will. Her anger has not yet left her completely. Now it is inward trained and that anger is the most difficult.

Sir, do you have anything to tell her about this?

She already knows.

Sir, that means the earthquake was the karmic result of all these thousands of souls?

Absolutely, absolutely.

Sir, why is it said that these natural calamities take place because of negativity, or because people invite it upon themselves?

Yes, child, that is exactly what we are saying. How do they invite it upon themselves? They undertake to do it. Now let me be clear. Of all the millions who have undergone natural disasters through time, not all have undergone it because of negativity. A large number have. Remember, children, a violent death is chosen by one who desires a very, very strong cleansing. When a soul takes incarnation after another after another, but every time it comes in physical form it falters and repeats  the same mistakes it then realizes that it needs a very strong scrubbing. It volunteers to be born at a time when a natural disaster is imminent. Now this is where your attention is required. We said when a natural disaster is imminent. There is no certainty of natural disasters. But e.g. this earthquake that has left you all so troubled, when the earth takes in all the negativity that has been released, this negativity gets contained day in and day out and day in and day out, till there is no healing of this earth. So the earth must release the negativity otherwise it  would be destroyed as an element because negative energy becomes so powerful that it cannot be contained. It releases it in the form of a volcano, in the form of a tidal wave, in the form of an earthquake. So, yes, you have brought it upon yourselves, because child, you cannot not take the responsibility. You cannot say that 'I have not released negativity' that twenty thousand others have. You are the twenty thousand, so each soul must take that responsibility. But, no, each soul has not contracted to die in this manner, so each soul will not go through the same experience. Do you know, children, there are some who die in natural disasters who have a very peaceful passing over. They have undertaken to go through an experience but their negativity had been healed before death. So the passing over is gentle, but the contract must be stuck to, not because we desire it, but because the soul and higher soul desire that the contract must be executed. That was the corner stone of the blueprint, so it will be executed, but there is no need for any further physical scrubbing. Cleansing is completed, if not completely, to a large extent. So there is no violent end. Now, all the souls who have come to our side at present, have come with so much negativity, that all our might, all our energy is used to heal the energies released here. Not only do we have to heal the energies released here, but we also have to nurture the troubled, suffering souls who do not even want to acknowledge that they have passed on. They keep going back to their homes, or what is left of them, they keep going back to those they have left behind. And we permit that because they must first acknowledge their own deaths before we can help. It is not that we don't care. We love them so much but they must accept our love and in order to accept our love they need to acknowledge their own death and in order to acknowledge death they must come face to face  with their own process of  cleansing.

Sir, in a case like this would it be a regional negativity, limited only to that region?

Sometimes, but not in today's world. In today's world it has become global, and the cleansing will therefore be global.

Sir, you said that sometimes the passing over in natural disasters is peaceful. Does this mean that the soul withdraws just before the event?
 
Yes, just a moment before.

Sir, many times even suicides are violent deaths. Are these also acts of cleansing?

No suicide is an act of cleansing. I need to elaborate on this as each one of you must understand about suicide. A suicide, my son, is never a corner stone . Please accept that. It is never contracted to commit suicide. It starts in a moment of free will decision. That is the first instance. When the soul comes over to our side it learns that it might have been  better to work things out in a manner different from the one chosen. It is made to experience and understand, when on our side, the beauty that is life. It is taught lessons of soul consciousness. It is even, very briefly, made to feel its merging with the divine, so that it remembers the beauty of that moment. Now, a soul in a physical incarnation ( it may not be the very next one, it may be ten incarnations later) whenever it desires to go through an experience whereby it can put to test its knowledge, so that there is true understanding, it will naturally decide on a path that is difficult. When it takes physical birth again, it faces the difficulties that it has itself put before it. Sad to say that some, in that moment of physical pain, in that moment of illusion of pain, forget the truth of that beautiful moment that it experienced and the action is repeated. In some instances the higher soul, continues to allow the act to go through so that there is, not a cleansing, but a very strong reminder when the soul comes to our side and sees the error it has made. Sometimes the higher soul intervenes and what appears as suicide, may not be suicide, because a moment before the actual act, the higher soul links with the physical soul, stopping, completely stopping, a violent end. But again there is karma. Why is there karma? Not as punishment. There is no such word as punishment for us. But the soul will again have to understand, if it desires, if it desires.and believe me, children, every soul that comes to our side, once it has accepted our love, it then desires greater knowledge of its self. But it is important that the soul accept our love.

Sir, I just wish to know if my grandmother has come over to your side and is with you all?

Child, your grandmother is here, and being the strong willed person she was, did not wish to rest. She wished to meet all her loved ones. At present she is resting and with her is her guide and her son. Her son is on a higher plane and therefore he will be able to come and be with her whenever he desires. Remember, child, grief is what is good for you. You must not stop grief because it cleanses. Ask this child and she will give you a meditation that will help you to completely let go, because, my dear one, you still have not let go. But do not mix up the two. Grief is not the same as not letting go. You have to grieve. Grief permits and accelerates the process of letting go. Every tear that falls, let that be a tear for your own sorrow and loss, not hers. You will then let go.

Sir, I would like to know that when souls are on your side, if they can  progress and learn, instead of taking birth again.

Of course, my child. It is possible to learn but it is not possible to experience. When they take birth they do not do so to learn, they do so to experience. Learning is all on our side. There is no learning on your side, that is only experience.

So much restlessness, so much agitation, so little energy. (He then proceeded to lead everyone  through an 'energizing' exercise) Each finger is joined to a separate spiritual energy wheel. Every time you touch a finger you energize the spiritual center it is connected to. The exercise of inhaling and exhaling should be repeated ten times every day . The earthquake, days before it struck, took away your energy. Energize yourselves again. Close your eyes and take in the energy as shown to you .
