Today we will have fun again. Ray 3. Again we will start from fun, from joy and thus from learning. Without any thought reasoning, logic, and analysis allow one word to pop into your mind. One word, for an activity associated with work, and one for an activity you associate with play.

Wonderful. Let us take the Bishop. Two meanings of the word. Chess: Thinking, analyzing, logic, a step by step careful decision-making. And a Bishop; a head of a religious institution. Disseminating his truth, but rather judgmental, rigid, not willing to see beyond Christianity. That is the mind. Your child, your inner being, inner essence, is one of activity. When you play the game, although there is need to think of a strategy you can’t wait to think before making a return. You have to act on the spot, quickly. You cannot wait and ponder where to move your Bishop. That is your inner essence, to work through intuition instantly. The mind often entraps this inner essence, this active intelligence. That is why we are talking of this ray 3. The ray of active intelligence……..to Manifest through the mind. You have the option to manifest this ray, either only through ‘badminton’ or only through the ‘Bishop’. You also have another better option. To let the Bishop Play badminton! (Laughter) That will be the fusion of male and female. And the ray of active intelligence will manifest to its hilt. You will neither be only a dreamer, thinker, nor will you only be a doer. You will be both.

Would any of you like to give us your understanding of skiing? Down slopes. Rapid. He must work rapidly in order to avoid falling. When you are on skis you cannot hesitate. You cannot wait and think. The minute you hesitate the skis will fall away from you. Skiing means control. There must be very, very severe control, in order not to fall. Here is one who hates falling and yet he chose skiing. You never ski up, you ski down. The more control you have, the faster will you will fall. Now his playing. The microphone and the stage. This is where he allows his inner essence to be manifest. And it is joyous to watch, when one allows the real day to day manifestations of one’s inner essence. And he has chosen to do this. Now he must choose to ski with the microphone in his hand. That is his active intelligence. To shout to the world "I am going down, skis and all, without any control. Giving up my personality. Giving up my ego. Giving up my need for power, even if I fall and tumble in the snow. This snow I will make my stage. It is in this snow that I will rise. It is in this snow that I will walk upwards without skis.’ That is your active intelligence. To allow yourself to be as powerful as you are. You have played with power, misused it. Do not allow past memories to now hold you back. Those skis stop your walk. Remove them. These are not shoes that you need to fit into. You will not abuse your power, if you let your inner essence take over. The inner essence needs the stage, needs the limelight, the glory. Why do you fight? Because you fear its misuse. Stand proud on the stage the universe has chosen you for, without any strapping. The snow may burn your feet, but eventually the snow will melt under the heat, you will emit. That will be your active intelligence.

She looks for fulfillment in work. Why? Her inner essence is joy. But when that inner essence is not empowered you look outside for this fulfillment. It is in work that you find yourself. It is in helping others that you seek to empower yourself. Victim, rescuer. See the choice you have made of work at present. The choice was made from a sense of helping others, less powerful than you. It is in their lack of power, that you gain power. Till as long as the void within is not filled, you will look for fulfillment in work. When the inner essence of joy is opulent, and is allowed to play with you, is allowed to fill the void within, the fulfillment that this inner work will bring will manifest into active intelligence, in work done for others. It is out of joy that you will be active. Not out of need.

Wonderful. One word for both. Work, joker. Play joker. The inner essence is one that wishes to be free of chains, that wishes to laugh, that wishes to make another laugh. Never ever underestimate a joker. A joker has wisdom far beyond the philosopher, but he disseminates his wisdom with sugar coated pills; with laughter and humor. That is your essence. But your work word is also joker; one who never takes you seriously. You are the joker for you. The fool, the stupid one. But you are not. Your active intelligence can only be manifest, when the two jokers become one, when the joker is not one who is stupid, but the one who is wise. Let this joker be manifest. That will be your active intelligence. Through laughter and merriment, light heartedness and cheer, you will spread wisdom. Till as long as your inner essence of your joker is trapped in seriousness and doubt, in worry and guilt, in worry and shame, you will not be able to manifest active intelligence.

The paper is the in-between.

Computer. How does one use the computer? Almost always blindly. Dependently. At some point your computer becomes your master. It does not permit you to think. You allow it to tell you when you are right and wrong, according to the computer. And very rarely do you even question it. Is this really wrong? How does the computer know what I wish to say? You give the computer the power it doesn’t have. And thereby you disempower yourself. This is what you do actively. In day to day life you allow others to tell you how to think, what to do. By others we mean books that you may read, religious scriptures that you may have heard, teachers who teach their truths, Friends and family, who though concerned, may not know what is best for you. Do not disempower yourself. Now make yourself into a blank paper. Not a single line drawn that you do not desire to be present. Not a single dot placed in a place where you do not desire it. Become a blank paper, and become the pen. Write your truth. Every time your truth is written, erase it. Become blank again so that your truth has an opportunity to expand. It is then that you will have the joy, of swinging freely through the air. You own power will swing you. You will not need the push of another, and as the swing will go higher and higher, the inner child in you will scream with joy. There will be a certain fear, because the heights that you will reach will be so magnificent, and yet the swing will not stop. That is your active intelligence. Empowerment of self.

This has shown you how the ray of active intelligence works. Through work and through play. Through the inner essence and the outer form. When the two do not merge, active intelligence is askew. You cannot only act out of your inner essence. You then become the abstract thinker, the philosopher, but one who has no idea how to spread them. You have to become the living philosopher. You have to first know your own truths. Not those told to you by others. Not those that come out of fear, out of conditioning. You have to rewrite your own truth, every step of the way. Erasing and writing an even greater truth. Never forget that one step. Many of you make that mistake. You have written your own truth, and then you have stopped. Therefore never has your truth the opportunity to expand into something larger. Your truth may be your truth at one point of time. It may have changed and grown. Changed its shape and form. But if you do not erase your own truth, how will you make place for the new one to come in? Constantly, periodically erase your truth. Even those that you have given yourself. Erase them completely. If they should come back, then permit them to be written again. But you will be surprised to find that some truths have suddenly changed. Do this regularly. And now all the words that you got for play know that it is your inner essence. Till your inner essence can manifest, along with the mind executing the work, active intelligence will be incomplete.

Now let us take those who have the monadic ray, ray 3. You come from a family of teachers, philosophers, visualizers. You can initiate. You can start. Do you think that universal truth is static? It is not. It is dynamic and it is constantly changing. This is why we often urge you to read your religious scriptures, keeping in mind, the history of the time. Truth cannot be static. It has to change its form. In its very dynamism is its own truth. Otherwise it will die. It is the family of the third ray monadic souls that keep changing the stagnancy of truth. They constantly question, search and seek. Wherever they find comfort they shake it up. Monadic ray 3.

When the soul ray is 3, you have come into this and a few other incarnations to help in the process of thought. You have come in order to aid the monadic families to rewrite the truth as pertinent to you and those like you. A marvelous responsibility. The monadic ray thinker is the abstract thinker. Unless his other rays are practically oriented, this person will be in a dream world. ‘It should be like this. Utopia. Paradise. Shambala.’ And at some stage he may even create an illusion of paradise around himself, which is his greatest, greatest enemy because he cannot see beyond that.

But with the soul ray, being the ray of active intelligence, this person is more aware of all that is around. He observes, he looks, he sees. He thinks. He can recognize the need for change, and he knows what is the change that is necessary. But unless soul ray has another practical ray of personality, mental and physical, this Soul ray person will know the change required, but will not know how to manifest it. He actively uses his intelligence to study, to know learning from its very depth, but if he does not have a practical ray helping him, he will not know quite how to apply them in day to day life.

When the personality ray is ray 3, you then have a person who loves to appear wise. If you ask him a question, he will at once say ‘let me give it thought. This requires very deep concentration.’ Then his answers will be in very wise words. Often words used very carefully, words he thinks another will not know. That is the personality where he wishes others to make and feel ‘I am wise’. He will probably study all the ancient scriptures. Not only will he study the scriptures, it will be all kinds of study. A person whom you have to put a question to and instantly an answer is forth coming. Often you will find that the answer need not always be the true one. It is only spoken very wisely. Ray 3 personality ray, wishes to appear wise. He may also study astrology, numerology. Through that he can reveal to you secrets, beyond which you thought you could never go. Look at your palm, and give you this wise opinion. ‘I do not think your marriage is a very happy one.’ How did he know that? There may be a chance that he heard you a little while ago complaining about your husband. (Laughter) Do not be trapped by over wisdom and intelligence. This is not to say that every astrologer and palmist is a fraud. But we were only joking about those who love to appear wise. You give them the grist with which they appear wise. You are so easily enamoured and influenced. And your eyes light up. ‘How does this person have such knowledge?’ Astrology and palmistry is only a science. Any one can learn this science. Even you. (Laughter)
