TETE – A – TETE  WITH GOD  --- Part 12 13.07.2004

Friends, as you are all aware, the Master while channeling through Sohrab in one of the meetings, gave us each a word on which he asked us to meditate and ponder. The word I was asked to work upon was “Beauty”. While  I was meditating on this word, the following was disclosed to me by my faithful Friend & Companion. I hope you will all see the “beauty” in it as I do.

God: My dear friend, what a beautiful word you have been given to toy with, and how apt too! “Beauty” as you all understand and the meaning you have given to it is limited and narrow. Beauty in its pure form is vast and expansive and is present everywhere in all things at all times, if only you would see it and do justice to it! There is beauty all around you – in the flowers and the fauna, the plants and the trees,even in the little twigs and the fallen leaves, the birds and the bees, the reptiles and the animals, and above all, in My crowing glory, Man! How many of you see the beauty in each of these? Even in the food you eat, the sounds you hear and the things you touch, each has a beauty and a vibrancy which you will experience only if you are sensitive and recognize the beauty in yourself. Very often you exclaim, how delicious is this dish – what is it but the beauty of taste – or you say how melodious and soothing is this piece of music – you are seeing the beauty in every note that the music emanates – or you think to yourself what a wonderful person he is – you are seeing the beauty of his soul! So you see My dear, everything tangible or intangible, has its own beauty. But, My dear, if you fail to see the beauty that is with you, how can you ever see the beauty that is outside of you! You all see the façade and spend hours to beautify the same. You dress up your children like dolls, you decorate your homes with frills and flowers, you even dress up your pets with bows and ribbons, because you want them to “look” good, not caring for what they “feel” or what they “are”! Why, My dears, do you need to make so much effort to create appearances when there is abundant beauty within. Your child will look just as beautiful in its own naked self because it is covered with its own radiance; your home will attract people because of its own soothing energies and vibrations. Nothing in nature really requires beautification, its for you to go deeper and not stop at the surface. You see your own brother or sister – and I do not mean biological – looking “ugly” in your language, you will not cast a second glance and will pass him by. If you had only paused to go a little deeper, you would perhaps have seen and acknowledged that he was the most beautiful person around at that time. Likewise, you may come across a very beautiful woman who appeals to your senses, but her beauty ends just there – you go deeper and you are disillusioned not because she is bad, because there is nothing good or bad, but she may not be really as beautiful as the so-called ugly duckling! So you see My child, how disillusioned and fickle you all are with an energy as stirring and soul-inspiring as “Beauty”.! For surely, beauty is an energy, otherwise how do you think your great artistes could write poems, paint pictures, mould sculptures and write soul-stirring music if they had not been touched by “Beauty”?

Now, My child, coming to you, as to why you have been given this particular word to ponder upon – you already know how much self-worth you have -  here I may pause and say, you have gone up by a few marks, but still not enough to see the true beauty of your heart and soul! That is why you stand before the mirror, as your other friends do, trying to bring colour and so-called beauty as you know it, to your face and façade, blissfully ignorant of the radiant beauty within! How many of you spend hours annointing and beautifying your bodies – if you would only spend a few moments each day to do the same for your soul, My dear one, your beauty would appear to you unsurmountable! Each one of you have a beauty unique in itself, but alas! You fail to see and recognize it  in yourself and others. If you would only see yourself and all around you as your Masters see you, then you would know why They always refer to you as Beautiful Ones! My dear one, by giving you this word you have been asked to constantly look within – at your beautiful Self and also look around and see only the beauty in all things!  Remember My friend, with beauty comes love, joy, harmony,inspiration. This message has come to you because you have truly gone deep within and seen the beautiful Self which allowed you to expand and receive this message from Me!

PSW: Thank you, my Beautiful Friend, for surrounding us with so much beauty and love which we have closed  ourselves to because of our ego and ignorance. Henceforth, I will try to see the beautiful side of everything and every being, be he friend or foe, because even in the so-called foe, I will now know and recognize that there is a beauty within which at that moment is hidden from me, but which, all the same, is there!
