RESPONSIBILITY

RESPONSIBILITY….’spond’ means to act. To RE-spond is to act as an exchange to another act. RE-ACTION is a physical action and a physical exchange of that action. When you RE-spond you can never RE-act. Act is physical…physical mind and physical body. ‘Spond’ is soul…. physical soul, not higher soul. When you re-spond you look at the soul of the person and your own soul re-sponds. When a child is ill and you ask that the child be cured, you think you are doing so because of the care and love for that child. THAT IS NOT TRUE. You ask for a cure because you re-act. The physical illness of the child brings out from you the physical fear of losing the child. Now, who are you asking help for? Yourself, or your child? Can you see that selfish seed? It is not a conscious selfishness, I will accept, but the mind is selfish. When you respond to the child who is ill, your soul will then observe the contract taken by the child to go through the process of an illness or a disease, which may be crippling, yes, but which is meant to help the soul. In response, your soul will then offer strength to another soul. It will not desire a cure for a selfish reason. If there is a parent, or a loved one who is going through turmoil and stress in their personal life, and you ask that the problems be reduced, you do so because you, in physical form, are unable to see the turmoil and stress. So you REACT and you ask for help. But that help is for YOU. But, making it sound as though you need the help for the loved one masks it. If there were responsibility, you would, in soul form, give strength, courage and fortitude to the one in trouble. You would not ask for the trouble to be reduced. Why do we, so often, children, tell you that when you heal do not ask for a cure? When you ask for a cure, remember, children, sometimes your plea is so fervent that your guides give in to your prayer. But, you and the guide, my children, have then come into a karmic link because you have then interfered with this person’s karma. To take responsibility, my children, is to look at yourself as a soul and to see all others as a soul. When a harsh word comes out of your mouth, and you take responsibility for that harsh word, you will never say that the harsh word came out because she did something or that he invited it. You will look within your soul and you will see the origin of the pain due to which your soul, with the help of your physical body, uttered harshness. If you hit, or kill, or harm another, you will not say that he slapped me so I slapped him. But you will then turn inwards and find out the true origin of the pain caused by that slap. Responsibility, my children, is looking inward. Reaction always looks outward. To take responsibility, my children, you must know your soul very well. Remember, children, the spiritual path cannot be tread upon if you have no psychological knowledge of yourself. See the words….psycho-logical. There is complete logic, there is a complete reason for what you do, but the reason is inside…psycho…. It is an inside knowledge, it is an inside reason. It has nothing to do with this point of time or place. The inside knowledge, the inside reasoning, can go back to when you were an infant, it can go back to twenty lifetimes ago. The spiritual and the psychological path always move hand in hand. Without treading both these paths you cannot accept complete responsibility. There will always be some reactivity.

Children, those few who had gathered there, not only had no responsibility but each one had a very obvious selfish motive. It was not a selfishness lying deep down. It was a conscious, deliberate selfishness. There is a difference when you ask for something, genuinely feeling the love for that person and not realizing the selfishness within. Yes, that is an error, but it is not as grave an error as knowing that you are selfish and deliberately masking it with concern. Do you see the difference? Do you have questions on responsibility?

Q: Sir, when you realize that you have erred and you take responsibility, does this change what has happened?

No, child. It changes nothing of the past, but, child, think of the changes of the future. The future is what you have. Let karma take care of the past. Do not, ever, my child, do anything with the selfish motive of trying to erase karma. Do all because you do not wish to have more karma.

Q: Sir, when we heal a person, how do we help that person?

You give that person strength to heal himself or herself in a manner that is best for that person. It might be death, which in your eyes, may not be a healing, but which is one of the most compassionate forms of healing of the Divine Energy. Sometimes, children, and this may surprise you all, although the moment of death is preordained, there are times when the moment is brought forward, because that person deserves the healing and the healing best is death. The moment of death is then brought forward. That is healing. Would you as a healer ask for death?

A: No, Sir.

Then you do not ask for a cure either. Because you do not know what to ask for, so you leave it those who know. And you ask those who know to heal in the best manner possible. You as a healer will merely give added strength. The person, the person’s higher soul, and the person’s guide will do the healing. Not you, my child, not you.

Q: Sir, if my wife and children whom I love so dearly are in pain and I pray for the pain to be relieved, am I being selfish?

No, son, you are not being selfish you are being immature. If after all that we teach you, you can still not see that the soul must take the path of the soul, then you are immature. Where is the knowledge, then, my son? Remember, son, it is easy to remember knowledge in times of peace. It is in times of your greatest stress, that it is your test also.

Q: It is also the test of my love, Sir.

Yes, you are so correct, my son. But you will fail the test of your love if you do not permit their souls to take their paths. Because then your love, my son, is a selfish physical love, not a deep soul level love.
