SOULS AFTER DEATH
Q : Sir, although we know that our higher selves have far greater knowledge than our physical minds , yet when the souls communicate with their dear ones, we do not see the evidence of this higher knowledge. They seem to be as limited in their knowledge as when they were alive. Why?
My child, at first you must understand that the souls who come are very often young souls , in the sense that their evolution is at a very early stage, so even the accumulated knowledge that they have will not seem like much to you. But it is wrong to say that all the spirits who come are like this. You must have noticed the difference between the older and younger souls. Please understand that we are not looking at the physical age and time as you look at them on your side.
Sometimes you will see that the time between passing over and communicating with your side becomes vitally important. Yes, all souls , all, all, whether young or old, have accumulated knowledge of the higher self to some degree. But this knowledge is not accessed to at once. The soul needs rest and restoration before it is ready to take in all the knowledge again . So if the soul is called very quickly after it has passed over it may not have had enough time to get in touch with its higher self completely and is still in the phase of living out this lifetime here. But souls who have been here a long time will certainly come more knowledgeable and more developed.
There is yet another side to this. Very often the souls have knowledge of the mundane, practical kind , because their learning here in the past times has also been of that nature. This path ( spiritual ) is followed only after many, many, many , lifetimes of practical life are over. What you are looking for, is this kind of knowledge , which a young soul has not and will not have for many more lifetimes.
Another aspect to pay attention to is the persons who come to talk to that spirit and their own evolution process. Very often the soul that comes and the guides who it comes with , pick up that the persons who have come are not ready to see the soul in any other way but as it was here. If the soul was to reveal greater or more profound knowledge the persons would not want to acknowledge that the soul is indeed who it was when they knew the soul in physical body. So you see my child, so many things are involved .
On our side, every day we get souls in hundreds who have died violent and tragic deaths. It can be argued that they opted for it; they did, but when they come over to our side, they have forgotten their choice, and the trauma and the pain and the shock that they come with are not easy for us to behold. It takes a long time and a lot of love and effort on our part to make them feel comfortable and safe again. Some souls who come to us, bring with them the anger and hatred that they died with. This is truly trying for us all on this side. For higher guides and masters it is a situation we have to deal with, with love, but for other souls, even souls who have been with us for a while, when they see the anger and hatred in another, it brings back to them memories of their own anger and hatred which they are trying for long to overcome on our side. These memories push them back and once again they have to start trying, learning the process of growth. This causes a lot of anxiety on our side. Do not think my children that the heaven which you call Heaven, is all love and joy and peace. It is made up of all, all the feelings that you are made up of. We encounter pride here, we encounter humility, we encounter selfless love but we also encounter selfish greed. We encounter soothing comfort but we also encounter anger and hatred. And when the world condition is this way, in this fashion, the anger and hatred escalate on our side. Growth, everyone's growth, suffers as a consequence of this. Masters have to stop their work of spiritual growth for themselves and others in order to combat this environment. Lower guides have to deal with confusion and anxiety and the fear of souls within their care.
