Well, now be prepared to do some very serious work, very serious work.

Before we start the meeting, is there anyone who wishes a personal question to be answered? We will do so today.

Ernie: Sir, I would like to ask about my husband.

Yes, my child, what would you like to know?

Ernie: Sir, I miss him very much and would like to know where he is.

My child, your husband is on a plane beyond the fourth. We are not permitted to tell you anything beyond that, but he is beyond the fourth plane. He is very much at rest, he is enjoying his stay with us. He is learning so many new things that he hardly has time to even think and miss the ones he has left behind. He has always been one to look for new challenges and this is what he is getting here. He loves you too, dear child, but every time you miss him or are a sad thought crosses your mind or heart, remember, my child this reaches him at once. This disturbs him, agitates him. My child, think of him often , but do not think of him with longing and yearning, because, my child, what is there to long for? He is with you….the only difference is that you cannot see his physical presence. Everything else, my child, is the same. My child, even all his yearnings for all those things he was addicted to here, are still with him. He still longs for them and he is working very hard to overcome these addictions. He regularly drinks from the pool of holy water to assuage all his unhealthy thirst. He is regularly breathing the air of purity and sweetness so that his astral body, his soul which was so harmed by his addiction, is now healing, gently and slowly, but with definite regularity. So, my child, think of him, love him, but do not miss him.

Ernie: Is he ready to communicate with me, Sir?

No, my child, he may be ready but we will not yet permit him, because, my child, it takes a long time for a person who is addicted to anything to overcome these addictions. When they are so eager to do so, as your husband is, we do not wish to draw them away for even a moment . So he will communicate with you, he will be with you, but do not ask him to be with you all the time, my child.

Ernie: Thank you Sir. I want him to be healed.

He will, my child, because that is what he desires.

Yez: Sir, I would like to ask about my meditation….any suggestions?

My child, our dear Bright Light brother has requested me to ask you if you wish to be given energy while this circle is in session.

Yez: How would this work, Sir?

After the meeting, in the last two or three minutes, we who are present, will join with all the sitters to give you energy. You will sit in your position, at the place where you are, keeping in readiness a book that you use for your auto-writing. You will do nothing but sit with the pen in your hand. The energy will be given to you but, my son, what you do with that energy is your will. But this step will not be taken unless you expressly desire it. But, my son, if you are not willing, please do not let any pressure be put upon you. You will proceed at your own pace., whenever you decide. So, my son, whenever you decide, please let us know at the next meeting and we will start.

Roxanne: Sir, I am having regular stomach upsets…..

Roxanne: Is this a form of cleansing?

My child, how will you heal others if you are not healed yourself?

Roxanne: Is this the hand of divine intervention?

Isn’t everything?

Roxanne: Thank you.

My child, may I ask one request of you? Before you come to a meeting such as this one, or the ones you attend on other days of the week….half an hour before that meeting do not smoke a single cigarette. If you can make it an hour, that would be even better, but half an hour you must. When you have stopped, that is before the half an hour starts, cleanse your aura yourself. You know how to do that. The reason is , my child, you know that the cigarette has caused harm to the aura. We wish your aura to be as clean as it possibly can in spite of the cigarette, before you sit for this kind of meeting. The reason is, my child, you will be able to draw in more energy if your aura is already clean.

Roxanne: Sir, I always cover myself with white light before these meetings.

My child, what is the point of doing that, if after that you light a cigarette? So cover yourself with light, cleanse your aura and do not light a cigarette. Thank you, my child.

Yez: Sir, should this procedure be followed even before healing?

Always. Before any spiritual work, whether it be just a simple meditation that you are going to sit for, or you may be going to a temple to pray….whatever kind of work which requires spiritual energy, you must have no toxins in your body. That is why the strict instructions given to this child of mine not to consume any non-vegetarian food before the meeting. My children, non-vegetarian food is so gross in its energy and your body has to work overtime to digest it. Before meetings like this, specially if you are going to do any spiritual work in the meeting, or any healing, do not consume any non-vegetarian food at least two hours before the meeting, healing or any spiritual work. Although we always advocate vegetarian food, we will not tell you give to up non-vegetarian food. That is wrong because fulfilled desires leave no karmas, unfulfilled desires always bring with them karmas. So do not give up anything, anything, my children, unless from your true desires you wish to give it up. No book, no words of knowledge, no philosophers must make you do what you do not desire because those unfulfilled desires linger on with you lifetime after lifetime.

Now we will start with the meeting. Which child has a question?

Rehana: Yes, sir. I have questions regarding religion and rituals. May I start, sir?

Yes, my child.

Rehana: Sir, did Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Ganpati exist in the physical form?

My child, let me explain. Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu, Ganpati….all these are energies, my child. They are not physical manifestations, my child, but different energies. But Zarathustra, Buddha, the Christ, Mohammed, they are physical manifestations, as are Sai Baba, Meher Baba, Guru Nanak, Mahavir……these are all physical manifestations. My child, do remember that when the earth was very very young, human beings were so completely in link with ours side, that energies were given names. Thus Shiva, thus Vishnu, thus Brahma, thus Ganpati, and all the other energies that you can think of. These energies were in constant link with human beings just as you are in link constantly with others, but as time went on, as the earth links became weaker and weaker, in order to remind people of these energies, the wise ones who were sent by our dear Lord, began to give fictional manifestations to these energies, they began to spin stories around them, legends and myths, they give them certain strengths which were supernatural and superhuman….and this was done for one and one reason alone, to remind the human race that these energies exist, that they must strive to strengthen their links again. That is all. When the weakness was felt even more , my child, and the links became very very fragile, our dear Lord found it necessary to send down His most beloved of souls in order to teach the path of God. Thus came the Christ, thus came Buddha, thus came Zarathustra, thus came Mohammed, thus came Guru Nanak, thus came Mahavir, but here remember also, my child, that none of these, and I repeat,my children, none of these was one human incarnation. All of these, my children, took different manifestations over and over and over again. There was a process of distillation that was on till finally the person you recognise as Zarathustra, till finally the person you recognize as the Christ, till finally the person you acknowledge as the Buddha. They didn’t do it in only one incarnation. They were born again and again and again, every lifetime purer than the last, because remember, my children, however high a soul is, when the soul comes into this earth form, he must vanquish all earthly demons just as you have to. Does this answer your question, my child?

Rehana: Yes, Sir. As a Muslim I have been conditioned only to bow before God and no human or idol. Although I respect all, I feel no adoration for them. Please help me to sort this out.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect. As an ardent follower of your faith…..your faith does not permit you to bow down in reverence to anyone but our dear Lord, not even the prophet Mohammed himself. My child, you will be aware that when your religion initiated on this earth, it did so in an area that was filled with barbarics, tribes that were killing and slaying and looting. In order to rid the people of such devilish intentions, came the prophet Mohammed, to preach the word of God. Those barbaric tribes, my child, were all paying adoration to false gods…..idols which were made up and presented to the innocent folk as gods which they must worship. Each human being would crave to be a ‘messenger’. That is why your faith insists that you do not bow before anyone but the Lord Himself. My child, you are right. You must pay respect to all religions, all religious heads, all prophets, all god realized men that have passed this way, but you are also right that the adoration and love that you feel for our dear Lord must be for our dear Lord alone. But, my children, there are certain religions which permit idol worship. They are not wrong. You must study the religion and the origin….then you will understand easily why one religion permits one ritual and another permits another ritual. You must not take the word of the book as the gospel truth, my children. That truth must be studied in the context of the time and the place and the persons it was meant for….only then will you understand the truth, only then will misconceptions be removed. So, my child, if a Christian wants to worship the Christ, and considers the Christ as our dear Lord Himself, that is right for him because through the Christ he is worshipping none other than the Divine Energy. Do you understand, my child?

Rehana: Yes, Sir. Sir we find that all the new age gurus and saints are from the christianity and hinduism, whereas the Muslim religion has so many fanatics. Can there not be some saints or sufis for them as well?

My child, you do not need a guru, you do not need a sufi saint, you need people like you, ordinary ones who are saints within yourselves. Otherwise why are you here? Each one of you is a saint , each one of you is a defender of the word of God, and that is why you are here.

Rehana: Sir, I am a born Aga Khani but I cannot accept him as a religious head for several reasons. But whenever I have gone before him for ‘deedar’ I have cried uncontrollably. What is the reason for this?

My child, it is not that you do not accept HIM as the religious head. Your soul within, refuses to acknowledge that a HUMAN BEING could be a religious head, because your soul tells you that truth that the only one religious head is our dear Lord. But when you go before him, or, my child, you go before any presence which has spiritual energy around, you, being sensitive, pick it up. You at once link with the Divine Energy. This Divine Energy causes within you an agitation because you are still not completely open to accepting that Divine Energy. This conflict within you makes you weep.

Rehana: Sir, when the masters come they either say Pranam or Good Evening. Are there no Parsee, Muslim or sardar masters?

Of course, my child there are. My child, you must remember, if I were to communicate with this child of mine in French or Punjabi or Sanskrit, or any language she is not familiar with, she would not be able to pick up even a single word of what I am saying. The endeavour would be lost. I must use what is present in my instrument so that my instrument is able to do the work of our Lord. So, my child, if the medium is Punjabi the guide would speak thus, if the medium is German the guide would speak thus.

Rehana: Sir most religions have prayers and rituals to perform, like feeding the poor, when a person dies. Are these for personal reasons?

No, my child, all prayers for the dead (as you call them) are meant for the souls who have gone ahead. Remember, my child, when a soul leaves this earth, even a soul who is learned and wise in our ways, even he is for a small, very small fraction of time, a little confused and takes a little time to get used to new environments. Prayers give peace and comfort to the soul, they take away the confusion, they allow the soul to move ahead towards the light, towards the plane where the soul is supposed to reach. Prayers are very useful. When it comes to feeding the poor, my child, this is nothing to do with the soul. It is just your way of thanking our Divine Lord for looking after your departed loved one. You can pray the prayers set down or you can pray whatever comes to you within your heart. But, my child, prayers for the departed loved ones help them so much, not only on the third day and fortieth day, my child, but constantly. As they progress from one plane to another, from one stage to another, your prayers encourage them onwards.

Rehana: What is the significance of lighting agarbatti and diya at sunset?

My child, let me explain the purpose of the two and you will get your answer. Incense sticks are lit in order to raise the vibration levels around you to those levels which we are very easily able to reach. I have said this earlier but I will repeat this for you, my child, when we have to come to you, we have to go through a lot of trouble to deliberately reduce our vibratory levels to match yours. Incense sticks help you to raise the vibratory levels around you and thus help us, and aid us because our work gets easier. Why at sunset? My child, this is not only at sunset. Incense sticks can be burnt, diya should be burnt all through the day. Over the years and centuries, you have been conditioned to think,my child, that earth bound spirits come alive at sunset. There is no such thing, my child. Earth bound spirits are alive and kicking all around you, all the time.

The diya, my child, is an open flame. Remember, my child, an open flame cannot be substituted by anything. An open flame is representative of divine light and love. The diya is in direct, and I mean direct, link with the divine energy. The protection you get from one open flame is more than what you would get if you had prayed for five hours without stop. That is the importance of an open flame.

Silla: Sir, would a candle flame be as good?

Any open flame, my child, any open flame. It is not the oil that makes it divine,it is the flame itself.

Rehana: Sir, where should the diya be? In the prayer room or any place in the house?

Anywhere you want protection, divine energy and high vibratory levels.

Rehana: Sir, as a Muslim I have been taught to believe in ‘azab’ and ‘qayamat’. After coming into this group I know that this is not true. How do I help others to know the truth?

My child, there is only one way to help anyone, whether of your faith or another. You tell them what you believe, you tell them what you have learnt. You will find that in a lot there is much opposition. As soon as you confront opposition, my child, do not proceed further. If you find that the person opposite is ready and open, continue to give him all the knowledge you have.

Rehana: Thank you, Sir, you have answered all my questions.

Syrus: Sir, regarding Meher Baba,it has been said that he is an avatar of God. When he came back to you does he remain a manifestation or an avatar…what do we consider him as?

He remains as he was here. My son, what is the meaning of the word avatar? It means an incarnation. My son, that can apply even to you. The reason why high souls are called avatar is to make it easier for the common man to listen to him. My son, if you went out and preached you would get two persons to listen to you. But if you are given the title of avatar you will have two thousand. So, my son, high souls remain high souls even when they come to us. And remember, my son, although he helps you in every way he is still working on his progress and his own evolution. He still has not merged with the Divine Energy and he is still working towards that, just as all of us are working towards that. Remember, children, all masters, all ascended masters are still working on their progress and on their own evolution, as their merging is not yet complete. Otherwise we wouldn’t be here as masters and guides….we would be lost in the wondrous energy that is our divine lord. Does that answer your question, my son?

Syrus: Sir if the masters have not yet merged with the oneness of God, what happens to humans beings like us?

You try to come to where we are.

Roxanne: Sir, I was always under the impression that when we pass over we merge with the light, until such time as we need to come back again for newer experiences.

No, my child, you do not merge with the light… you become part of the light. As a part you will still be distinct, when you merge there is no distinction… you have become the divine light yourself.

Syrus: Sir that means that I am part of God and a part of the Divine Soul…..

Do you have any doubt?

Syrus: No, Sir. But does that make me God?

Of course. What does our opening prayer say, my son? "I am God and I am His name". Haven’t you been listening to the prayer, my son? Say it every day, my son, say it every day…I am God and I am His name. Because each one is God. If you were not God you would be living a most miserable existence possible…..and not because you are not God but because you did not know that you are God.

Syrus: Sir, I am confused about one thing. When we come here it is to reduce and work out karmas. But when we are born the past is forbidden to us. Why are we not meant to remember, so that we do not add to our karmas all the more?

It has not been forbidden, my son.There is a temporary memory lapse. But, my son, when there is true desire to proceed ……Ask this child of mine how much aid she has received from our side. Memories of long forgotten incidents have been brought before her, she has been told the error of her ways, actions have been taken to strike her down completely when she has not listened to our advice. We did this all because we are able to see the openness within her. She is like an open book upon which she has asked our dear Lord to write, and He will. So, my dear son, temporary memory lapses will be completely taken away once there is true desire to proceed. And, my son, remember, a meeting such as this one is our effort to take away the memory lapse. Do you think that your soul does not know the answers to the questions that were asked today? Of course your soul knows. What I am here to do is to merely help you to remember those answers.

Syrus: Sir, we are guided by you.But the common man does not know these things.

Yes, my child, you are right. It is not every one who has this good fortune. But, my child, remember, as the earth has aged, man has completely broken his link with us. The common man, as you call him , who does not have the benefit of this knowledge, is one who has unfortunately broken his link with us. And yet we try, we try so hard to get through to him, but he does not listen. He does not feel us, he does not respond. But when we find that there is a person, that there is even a slight response, we will at once, immediately, walk in into that space given to us and we ask that person to open up to us. So, my son, you not are fortunate, you have wanted this to happen, you invited us here and we welcomed you. So it is a two-way traffic between us. Without that there can be no communication.

Syrus: Sir, there are persons who give crores of rupees to build temples and then they go to their offices and …….

Hypocrites. Hypocrites. They do not do this in His name, my son, they do it in their name. There is no work of the Lord that is done.

Rehana: Sir, you said that as we are a part of God, we are God. Sir, for my hand I will say my hand, not my body, for my head I say my head, not my body. Please clear this confusion.

Are your head and your hands not part of your body? Are they part of your soul? Does you soul have a hand? Does your soul have a head?

Rehana: No, Sir, what I meant was that my hand is only the hand not my whole body. So also God is the whole and we are just a part…..

My child, would your body be complete without the smallest little finger that you have? Our Divine Energy though complete in its omnipotence would still be incomplete without you.
