PLANES, RAYS AND CHOHANS
Q: Sir, I would like to know about the chohans and the rays that we have read about?
The rays, my son, are not the same as spiritual planes. First that must be understood. Planes and rays are not the same.
Q: Are there really seven planes?
Son, when we talk of the seven planes or nine planes or sixteen planes, we are not looking at a climb upwards on a ladder. When we speak of planes we are only looking at them from different vibratory levels. All the souls belonging to the first plane have a similar vibration. Son, haven’t you experienced when you meet up with someone there is a complete connection even if that person is a stranger?
Q: Yes, Sir.
And at other times you feel uncomfortable for a reason that you cannot even fathom. That is because the person you feel comfortable with has your vibratory level and is vibrating at the same speed that you are. And so there is no conflict when your energies merge. But when you come within the energy sphere of someone who is someone who is very, very fast or someone who is very, very slow there is conflict. The same conflict, my son that you all perceived when the High Lord came in. Do you recall your agitation? That is the same kind of agitation. Now if every soul belonging to different energy spheres were to constantly conflict with each other, the souls would not be able to move ahead and so the souls would naturally keep to those souls that have their own energy spheres. These energy spheres are what are called planes. We do not call them planes; we have given them a word so that you can understand.
Rays are different learning skills. For e.g. there is the skill of art and music, painting and sculpture, there the skill of science, of mathematics, there is the skill of magnetics. There are so many that you can learn when you are here. And any one from any plane can access the knowledge of the ray he or she desires. Just as in a school you have a principal, so also on every plane you have a master guide and on every ray you have a master teacher who is a chohan. Chohan is only that… teacher. So the one you call the Bright Light is really a teacher of science, the one you call the Mother Mary is a teacher of healing. I, personally, am the world teacher in order to spread the knowledge of Love. So we are all chohans, teachers. Again it is a name that has been coined by the physical minds and us together. Is this clearer?
Can a chohan also be a master guide of a plane?
Oh, yes. He can, and all chohans are eventually the highest masters of each plane. Because, in a sense, all of us have our planes, and all of us have our guides below us, and their helpers and their counselors and their friends and then our dear, beloved children. So, yes, we are chohans of the rays but we also look after the very large task of keeping all the souls in our care together and onto the right path. And this does not at all mean a misconception that you may or may not have come across. Some mediums feel, incorrectly, that if their guide is the master guide of a plane that has a higher ‘number’ that guide is more mighty or powerful. That is just wrong physical ego. In a school is a teacher who teaches the tender little ones, less important than the one who teaches your teenagers? If not for those teachers, would the tender little ones grow up to be mature, sensitive teenagers? So that is the false ego on the part of the medium. Do not ever be tricked into that belief.
Q: Sir, who is the Maha chohan?
He, my son, is like your headmaster. He guides all; he oversees all. Now you may wonder why we need a soul to over see the others. Even amongst us, my son, (and when I say us I am referring at present only to the chohans) even amongst all of us, there is a difference in our soul vibrations, marginally. That is because of different physical experiences that each chohan has gone through. It is also because of different attainments and achievements of the chohan’s soul itself. To guide all the rays, so that all the rays work towards one objective, there is a maha chohan, the great teacher. He and I work in conjunction. He gives wisdom of our realms; I give love of our realms. We cannot work without each other and we cannot work without our guides, and we cannot work without our counselors, and in that way no soul is less important than the other. Your grandmother’s soul that has just come to our side is as important as the soul that you call the Maha Chohan. It is only in your physical world that you all give importance in a discriminatory manner. Everything is important. How can it not be? Because if you consider only one thing, or only one soul unimportant, you have considered another part of the divine soul, that you are a part of, unimportant.
